We're so excited to invite everyone to the premiere of four new episodes that we've been working on for the past ten months. These episodes have been larger than anything we've ever done before. We received funding from Bell Fibe TV1 last fall to help bring the episodes to life and have been working tirelessly since. They will be releasing in August on Bell, and here near the end of this year. As a member, you'll be the first to know.
To celebrate, we are hosting a premiere in Winnipeg at the Park Theatre and you are invited! Come and join us! Tickets are free! We can't wait to share these stories with the world.

We haven't posted a WDYD episode since January 31st, 2026. Let me explain why.
Firstly, it's not because we haven't been working on What Do You Do? Our absence is because we have been working on the upcoming episodes so much that we haven't had time for much else.
Why are they taking so long? Well, they're bigger and better. Last fall, we successfully landed a deal with Bell Fibe TV 1 to deliver them four episodes for 2026. It was a very exciting moment for the series to be seen, recognized, and granted funding to help bring this vision to life. With a goal of wanting to blow people's minds, we dived straight into what we could do for Fibe. The four episodes are:
- Florists on Valentine's Day
- The Mayor of Winnipeg
- Ragpicker's Anti-Fashion Emporium
- and the Snow Architect of the World's Largest Snow Maze
A teaser for the episodes will be coming soon with the episodes releasing to Bell Fibe TV 1 this summer. They will later release on YouTube (and here!) for free. And you will be the first to know when.
In conjunction with all of our freelance work to keep the lights on and A/C running, this has been a time that we've coined "the great lock-in of 2026". But we're still here! See attached photo of our general emotional state.
The Book of Unique Jobs continues to develop, and if you've been keeping up with the interviews, you are on the groundfloor of something truly amazing. Just wait for the episode with accelerator physicist Sofia Kostoglou at CERN who spends her days smashing particles together at the speed of light. This week, I've been able to secure interviews with the Parks Canada trail maintenance crew, signed an agreement with the U.S. Coast Guard, and am looking forward to an upcoming session with Corby Pearce, an executive chef and world-renowed ice carver. Also been doing some research on magnet fishing and moonshine lately.
So really, the reason we've been gone is because there's so much in preparation for the future. What's to come next is diabolically fruitful, a discovery of hidden pathways, a satiated curiosity, and an answer to questions you never thought you had.
See you soon!
